Add Internet access to your Concourse library catalog!
The development of the Internet raised the bar for information access. Your
patrons are no exception - they expect the same accessibility to their local
library's catalog. Book Systems provides innovative Web-server technology
for Concourse customers that can make it happen in a snap, giving your
patrons 24/7 access to your library.
WebOPAC enhances Concourse by providing instant access through an
Internet or local intranet connection. Using a standard Web browser from
home, a favorite coffee shop, or virtually anywhere else with an Internet
connection, patrons can take advantage of WebOPAC's powerful search
options to view the library's collection anywhere, anytime.
WebOPAC supports Easy Word (keyword), Title, Author, Subject, ISBN,
Visual, and Study Program (Accelerated Reader, Reading Counts!, etc.)
searches. Even more advanced searches are available with WebOPAC's
Combo and Expert (Boolean logic) searches.
Your patrons will also like the WebOPAC themes - KidZviZ (Pre-K through
3rd grade library explorer's toolbox) and other eye-catching themes make
searching appealing to all ages. Likewise, patrons will
enjoy the benefit of searching for cataloged electronic media resources
like e-books, PDF files, Word documents, and Web sites.

WebOPAC allows patrons to check items on loan, to request items, to build
their own bibliography lists, and more. Access is secured with a PIN number.
